Our customer in El Cajon, California, reported an issue with their commercial freezer. Upon arrival, our refrigeration technician inspected the system, finding that the main breaker had tripped. Further diagnosis pointed to a failed compressor. The part will need to be ordered and repairs quoted to the customer.
An approved HVAC unit replacement was scheduled today at a clothing retailer in El Cajon California. Their original unit had multiple mechanical failures, and replacement was chosen as a more cost-effective, long-term option. Our technicians arrived onsite to disconnect and prep site for the crane lift. Crane removed old equipment and placed new condenser. The installers completed the installation of the evaporator and condenser. Returning tomorrow AM to complete installation wiring and start-up.
Received an urgent request from a customer to inspect their commercial refrigeration equipment in El Cajon CA. Temperatures had risen on their Traulsen freezer overnight. Our service tech that upon arrival, door was not closed properly. Tech closed the door while inspecting the unit, tested all pressures and checked electrical. No issues found. Freezer temps had dropped down to -6 degrees and falling during inspection. Advised staff to make sure door was shut tight to avoid future issues.
Weekend emergency request received for a weight loss center in San Diego county. RESSAC refrigeration tech found the Traulsen freezer with ice forming around the evaporator fans. Cleared the ice, traced main issue to a defective cabinet sensor that was reading incorrectly. Had sensor in truck stock, replaced while onsite. Freezer dropping in temperature and working well again.
RESSAC refrigeration tech arrived at drug store in El Cajon, California to repair a cooler with a high temperature reading. He found that the temperature sensor was not working properly and got it replaced. Unit was reading proper temperature after replacement.
HVACR technician responded to call at a weight loss center in El Cajon, California to perform maintenance on two ICP package units and repair a non-operating freezer. Technician completed maintenance on HVAC units then proceeded to repair the freezer. He found that the evaporator coil was iced up and much of the rest of the unit was full of ice as well. Tech cleaned the ice off the unit and the unit was restored to full operation.
